- Bachelor’s degree in Economics from ITESM.
- Postgraduate degree in Futures Economics from Trinity College, Dublin.
- AD2 Program in Senior Business Management at IPADE.
With over 35 years of financial and business experience, his activities as Regional Director of Nacional Financiera S.A. in various regions of the country are notable, particularly his 15 years in decision-making positions in Credit and Management from 1972 to 1986.
In 1986, he joined Grupo SIDEK S.A. de C.V. as Deputy Director, participating in the growth and business diversification phase of this Mexican conglomerate, in charge of corporate and financial functions for 10 years. He was in charge of part of the complex restructuring and orderly liquidation process until 1997.
For the last eight years, he served as CEO of Jaguar Corporación S.A. de C.V., both during its business reorganization and its placement of shares with Pactiv Corp., maintaining general management for two years to complete the transition to a public company on the NYSE.
In 2007, he joined forces with two prominent professionals to form the comprehensive business consulting firm Franco, Goerne, Hernández & Asociados S.C., focusing his experience on a variety of projects.
With extensive experience in domestic and international capital markets, he has led more than 30 capital and debt placements and participated in the formation of companies, restructuring processes, and mergers and acquisitions. He is currently a member of the boards of directors of companies listed on the stock exchange.
- Specialized management in the financial and administrative areas of public companies listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange and international exchanges such as the NYSE (New York Stock Exchange), AMEX (American Stock Exchange), Luxembourg Stock Exchange, and other formal markets.
